Group1: Highest temperature

• Collect daily highest temperature for these 3 cities NYC, Miami, Green Bay, WI (Look for GREEN BAY AIRPORT) for 10 consecutive days. With these data make a table. Find the mean, median, range, and mode of highest temperature for each of the cities. Which of these measures best summarizes the data?

• Enter the data in a spreadsheet. Make a triple bar graph (make sure to give a title and label the axis). What is the scale? What is the interval? In which day was there the greatest difference in highest temperature between NY city and Miami? NY city and WI? Miami and WI? Interpret the graph.

• Using the means of lowest temperature, make a single bar graph. Estimate the ratio of the means of maximum temperature of NY city to the mean of maximum temperature of Miami: NY to WI: and Miami to WI.
